- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 long English cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 loaf sliced bread, crusts removed
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise, mixing until smooth.
- Add dill, green onions, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread.
- Layer sliced cucumbers over the cream cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread and press gently.
- Trim the crusts and cut each sandwich into three portions.
Notes
Prepare sandwiches up to 24 hours in advance and store in an airtight container.
Use fresh herbs and quality cream cheese for better flavor.
Slice cucumbers thinly for optimal texture.
