Ingredients

  • 1 (1-ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 4 large (burrito-sized) tortillas
  • 3/4 cup nacho cheese sauce, warmed
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup taco sauce
  • 4 small (taco-sized) tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend cheese)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet until no longer pink, drain excess liquid, and add taco seasoning with water.
  • Seasoned beef should be set aside for assembly.
  • Prepare work surface with ingredients for assembly.
  • Layer ground beef, nacho cheese, toppings on large tortillas and cover with small tortillas.
  • Fold and seal large tortillas around small ones, ensuring all ingredients are enclosed.
  • Heat oil in skillet, cook wrapped tortillas seam-side down until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
  • Cut wraps in half and serve.

Notes

Ensure the skillet is hot for a crispy texture.
