- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- ½ cup plain/all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cut the chicken breast into strips about finger-width.
- Mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs in another bowl for egg wash.
- In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs and optional Parmesan.
- Coat chicken in flour mixture, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Arrange chicken on the tray, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 20 minutes.
Notes
For an air fryer, preheat to 350°F (180°C) and cook for 12 minutes.
Double-coat chicken for an extra crunchy texture.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
