Instructions

  • Cook the chopped bacon until crispy, then set aside and retain some grease in the pan.
  • Melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux for about 2 minutes.
  • Slowly add milk while whisking until smooth.
  • Stir in sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, then simmer.
  • Add corn, cream cheese, and bacon to the pan, stir and heat through.
  • Top with remaining parmesan, bacon, and parsley before serving.
