  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained
  • 28-ounce can diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 cup Heinz chili sauce (NOT sweet chili sauce)
  • 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen green beans
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and brown the ground beef.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in diced carrots, beef broth, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, chili sauce, potatoes, corn, and green beans.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  • Ladle into bowls and garnish as desired.

Notes

For a healthier option, use lean ground beef or ground turkey.
Adjust seasoning to your taste, adding more chili powder for heat.
Let the soup rest for a few minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
