Instructions
- Combine cornbread mix, buttermilk, and egg in a bowl until smooth. Fold in cheese and bacon if desired.
- Preheat and grease a mini waffle maker. Add 1 tablespoon of batter per section and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, butter, maple syrup, and salt over low heat. Stir until smooth.
- Serve waffle bites on a platter and drizzle with the warm honey butter syrup.
