- 1 package Shrimp and Crab Boil seasoning
- 1 lb. fresh shrimp (shell and tail on)
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
- 1 ½ tablespoons dried dill (or 3 tablespoons fresh dill)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon citrus juice (lemon or lime juice)
- Salt and ground white pepper, to taste
- Old Bay Seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp base with shrimp/crab boil seasoning and water.
- Boil the shrimp for 5-8 minutes until pink, then chill them on ice.
- Peel and chop the cooled shrimp, seasoning as desired.
- Mix mayonnaise, celery, red onion, dill, and citrus juice in a bowl.
- Fold the chopped shrimp into the dressing until coated.
- Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Choose fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
Chill the salad longer for enhanced taste.
Adjust dill quantity based on personal preference.
