  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder

  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup Light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup White granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Sift together the dry ingredients: flour, instant coffee, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Blend melted butter with sugars, vanilla extract, and eggs until incorporated.
  • Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Gently add chocolate chips to the dough.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cookie sheets.
  • Scoop dough onto sheets, leaving space for spreading.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden and the center is slightly underbaked.
  • Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
