- 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 cup Unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup Light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup White granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
- 2 Large eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Sift together the dry ingredients: flour, instant coffee, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Blend melted butter with sugars, vanilla extract, and eggs until incorporated.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently add chocolate chips to the dough.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cookie sheets.
- Scoop dough onto sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden and the center is slightly underbaked.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Use fresh instant coffee for enhanced flavor.
Cool the melted butter before mixing for optimal dough consistency.
Avoid overmixing the dough for chewy cookies.
