- ½ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 3 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- ¼ cup melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Combine whole milk, warm water, yeast, and sugar in a stand mixer; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add all-purpose flour, bread flour, and salt; knead for 3 minutes.
- Incorporate room temperature butter; knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Shape dough into a ball, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for filling; set aside.
- Divide dough for two loaves; roll out each section and add filling.
- Roll dough into logs and place in greased loaf pans; cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
Ensure yeast is fresh for best results.
Adjust flour gradually if dough is too sticky.
