Instructions

  • Combine whole milk, warm water, yeast, and sugar in a stand mixer; let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add all-purpose flour, bread flour, and salt; knead for 3 minutes.
  • Incorporate room temperature butter; knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Shape dough into a ball, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon for filling; set aside.
  • Divide dough for two loaves; roll out each section and add filling.
  • Roll dough into logs and place in greased loaf pans; cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
