- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar

- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3–4 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
- Gradually stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.
- Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until puffed and lightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan.
- Prepare the frosting by beating softened butter and gradually adding powdered sugar.
- Mix in milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Frost the cooled cookie bars and top with holiday sprinkles.
Notes
Ensure butter is at room temperature for easy mixing.
Check for doneness around the 12-minute mark to maintain a soft texture.
Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week.
