- 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 1/4 cup Truvia® Sweet Complete™ All-Purpose Sweetener
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature (for frosting)
- 2 cups Truvia® Confectioners sweetener
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
- 1/4 tsp salt (for frosting)
- Food coloring (red, green, yellow, gold)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cupcake pans.
- Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Cream butter and Truvia® Sweet Complete™ until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and then mix in vanilla.
- Incorporate sour cream and gradually add milk.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fill cupcake liners and bake for approximately 22 minutes.
- Beat frosting ingredients until light and fluffy.
- Adjust frosting consistency and color as desired.
- Frost cooled cupcakes and add decorative touches.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing.
Don’t overmix the batter for fluffy cupcakes.
Cool cupcakes completely before decorating.
