Instructions
- Beat softened butter until smooth. Gradually add sugar and cream until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and both extracts until combined.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients to form dough.
- Chill dough wrapped in plastic wrap for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll chilled dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut out cookie shapes.
- Bake cookies for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.
- Beat cream cheese and softened butter in a bowl. Gradually mix in confectioners’ sugar and vanilla.
- Decorate cooled cookies with frosting and add sprinkles.
