- 1 sleeve of saltine crackers (about 40 crackers)
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Red and green sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar; cook over medium heat until bubbly.
- Boil the mixture for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers and spread evenly.
- Bake for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee.
- Add sprinkles on top and cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
Use unsalted butter with a pinch of salt for a different flavor.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
