  • 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract for glaze
  • Extra Christmas sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add vanilla.
  • Blend in sour cream and milk on low speed.
  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix gently.
  • Fold in Christmas sprinkles.
  • Pour batter into loaf pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla.
  • Glaze the cooled bread and top with extra sprinkles.

Notes

For a nutty version, add chopped walnuts or pecans.
