- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 12.8 oz box Chocolate Chex Cereal
- 6 candy canes (crushed)
Instructions
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave.
- Stir in peppermint extract once melted.
- Combine chocolate mixture with Chex and crushed candy canes.
- Toss chocolate-coated cereal in powdered sugar in Ziplock bags.
- Spread on parchment paper to cool and set.
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for better flavor.
Crush candy canes into small pieces for even distribution.
Allow chocolate to completely set for the best texture.
