- 14.3 oz. package Oreos or gluten-free alternative
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 12 oz. quality dark chocolate
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 6 oz. quality dark chocolate
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix Oreos and melted butter in a food processor and press into tart pan.
- Heat 3/4 cup cream until bubbly, then mix with 12 oz. dark chocolate.
- Add vanilla, sea salt, and eggs; whisk until smooth.
- Pour ganache into tart crust and bake for 35 minutes.
- Cool the tart for at least 15 minutes.
- Melt remaining 6 oz. dark chocolate and dip strawberries.
- Arrange strawberries on tart and drizzle with melted chocolate.
- Whip 1 cup cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Slice and serve with whipped cream.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for the best taste.
Cool the tart completely before slicing to maintain its shape.
Opt for fresh, ripe strawberries to maximize sweetness.
