- 1 piece (1"x2"x3/4") of paraffin, found in the baking aisle
Instructions
- Mix butter, corn syrup, salt, and powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth.
- Knead the mixture into a smooth dough; refrigerate if too soft.
- Wrap each cherry with a flattened circle of dough.
- Chill the wrapped cherries on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet for 2 hours or overnight.
- Drain and dry the cherries on paper towels.
- Melt unsweetened chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and paraffin over simmering water.
- Dip each cherry in the chocolate mixture using forks.
- Remove excess chocolate and set on wax paper to cool.
