Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Drain the maraschino cherries, reserving the juice.
  • Whisk together flour and cocoa powder in a small bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  • Make indentations in centers of cookie balls.
  • Insert a cherry into each indentation.
  • Melt chocolate chips and condensed milk in a saucepan, stirring in cherry juice.
