Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1–1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/16 teaspoon salt
- 1 (7-ounce) container marshmallow crème
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 (10-ounce) bag mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Remove the cream cheese packaging and place it on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds. Flip and microwave for an additional 10 to 20 seconds until soft, but not melted.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine softened cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat until completely smooth.
- Scoop the marshmallow crème into the mixer using a spoon that has been run under hot water and dried. Beat until fully incorporated.
- With the mixer on low, slowly pour in the heavy cream. Once added, increase the speed and beat until thickened and soft peaks form. Avoid over-beating.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Cover and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes. Stir, then serve with your favorite dippers like pretzels or vanilla wafers.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is softened properly for the best texture.
Do not over-beat the cream once it’s added to prevent the dip from becoming too stiff.
For extra flavor, try mixing in some peanut butter with the cream cheese.
