- 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz, recommended: Pillsbury Devil’s Food)
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup sprinkles (colored or chocolate)
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (melted)
Instructions
- Mix together cake mix, eggs, oil, vanilla, and baking powder in a large bowl until well combined.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Scoop and roll the chilled dough into balls, placing some space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm and centers are soft.
- Cool on a wire rack, then dip in melted chocolate and add sprinkles.
Notes
Use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
Consider chilling the dough longer if the kitchen is warm.
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
