Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounds of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spaced two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
