- 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme, plus extra for garnish
- 1 Baguette
- 2/3 cup Fresh Goat Cheese
- 1/4 cup Chopped Almonds
Instructions
- Combine the cherries, balsamic vinegar, honey, and thyme in a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Slice the baguette into 12 pieces.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and toast baguette slices for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
- Spread goat cheese on each toasted slice.
- Top with marinated cherries, sprinkle with almonds and thyme, and drizzle with reserved marinade.
Notes
Allow the cherry mixture to marinate for optimal flavor.
Using day-old baguette will yield a crunchier texture.
Adjust honey quantity based on sweetness preference.
