Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in one bowl.
- Mix milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in cherries.
- Mix cobbler topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter and sprinkle topping on each.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the batter for fluffy muffins.
Ensure frozen cherries are thawed and drained to prevent excess moisture.
