- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or maple syrup)
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds (or Everything Bagel Seasoning)
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (1 package)
- 8 slices cheddar cheese or 6–8 ounces shredded cheese
- 1 tablespoon soft butter (to spread on pan)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare the baking pan.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet, sauté onions for 5-6 minutes.
- Add ground beef, cook until no longer pink, then combine with seasonings.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, layer cheese, and spoon beef mixture on top.
- Mix butter, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar for glaze; brush over rolls and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
Drain excess grease to prevent soggy sliders.
Use a serrated knife for precise cutting post-baking.
