Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Shape the dough into balls and roll in sugar and chai spice mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet with enough space between each.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool slightly before serving.
