Instructions
- Whisk together flour, cake mix, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, and cake batter extract to butter mixture and combine.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and Christmas sprinkles.
- Cover and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Shape dough into balls and bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool cookies on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, and cake batter extract for frosting, then frost cookies and top with sprinkles.
