- ½ cup salted butter, softened
- ½ cup white granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg, large
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and baking soda until well mixed.
- Add the peanut butter and continue mixing until combined.
- Fold in the powdered sugar and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until set but still soft in the center.
- Allow to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Make sure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
