  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.
  4. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and baking soda until well mixed.
  5. Add the peanut butter and continue mixing until combined.
  6. Fold in the powdered sugar and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until set but still soft in the center.
  9. Allow to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
