- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 5–7 ripe strawberries
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- Juice and zest of 1 lime
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Remove seeds and membrane from jalapeño, then chop.
- Zest and juice the lime into the blender.
- Add jalapeño, blueberries, strawberries, cilantro, and salt to the blender.
- Pulse until desired consistency is achieved.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt if needed.
- Chill for at least one hour before serving.
Notes
Choose ripe blueberries and strawberries for maximum flavor.
For less heat, remove more seeds from the jalapeño.
Let the salsa sit for a while to meld flavors.
