- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small yellow onion, diced (about ½ cup)
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 cups (476 g) heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups (200 g) parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tablespoon blackened seasoning
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the pasta until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
- Sear the steak cubes with blackened seasoning in melted butter until brown and juicy.
- Cook the salmon pieces seasoned with blackened seasoning until golden brown.
- Prepare the sauce by cooking onions and garlic, then adding cream, pasta water, parmesan, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Combine pasta with sauce and add the steak and salmon, garnishing with parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor.
