- 3 tablespoons (45g) dairy-free milk, room temperature
- 2 ½ tablespoons (15g) Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder, optional
- Pinch of salt, optional
- ¼ cup (35g) fresh sweet cherries, for topping
- Chocolate shavings or chocolate chips, optional
Instructions
- Combine pitted cherries with maple syrup and chill.
- Whisk dairy-free whipped cream until fluffy and set aside.
- Blend avocado, melted chocolate, maple syrup, dairy-free milk, cocoa powder, and optional ingredients until smooth.
- Layer whipped cream, mousse, and cherries in serving glasses, repeating layers.
- Top with additional cherries and optional chocolate shavings.
Notes
Use ripe avocados for the best mousse texture.
Chill ingredients to keep whipped cream fluffy.
