- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons smoky barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 extra-large breaded chicken tenders
- 4 thick-cut bacon slices, cooked and crisp
- 4 brioche hot dog buns
- Shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
- Thinly sliced Roma tomatoes
- Thinly sliced red onion
- Thinly sliced dill pickles
Instructions
- Whisk together mayonnaise, smoky barbecue sauce, honey, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Refrigerate the sauce.
- Prepare chicken tenders as per package instructions, ideally in an air fryer. Toast brioche buns briefly.
- Cook thick-cut bacon until crispy and drain on paper towels.
- Spread sauce on both sides of each bun, layer with chicken tenders, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles.
- Add cracked black pepper and drizzle remaining sauce on top.
Notes
Doubling the sauce is recommended for extra flavor.
Keep components stored separately for better freshness if you have leftovers.
