- 1 pound rigatoni
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara pasta sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet for 7-8 minutes, breaking clumps.
- Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; cook for another minute.
- Stir in marinara sauce and tomato sauce, boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine rigatoni with sauce mixture, and transfer to a casserole dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
Notes
Break ground beef into smaller pieces while browning for even cooking.
Broil for a few minutes after baking for a crispy top.
