- 1/2 package puff pastry sheets (1 sheet), thawed for 30 minutes

Instructions
- Cut apples in half, remove the core, and slice into 1/8-inch thick pieces.
- Place apple slices in a bowl, cover with water, and add lemon juice.
- Microwave for about 3 minutes until soft; adjust time if necessary.
- Flour a surface and roll out puff pastry, cutting it into six 2-inch wide strips.
- Layer apple slices on each strip, overlapping them.
- Sprinkle cinnamon if desired, fold the pastry over the apples, and roll into a rose shape.
- Place in silicone cups and air fry at 370°F for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar, and pair with chosen toppings.
Notes
Slice apples thinly to ensure they bend without breaking.
Always include lemon juice to maintain color and enhance flavor.
Parchment paper can ease cleanup when using the air fryer.
