- 2 cans (10 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
- 2 Granny Smith Apples
- 2 sticks (1 cup) Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 12 oz Mountain Dew
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Peel, core, and slice apples into 8 wedges each.
- Roll each apple wedge in a crescent roll and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Melt butter and stir in sugar and cinnamon to combine.
- Pour the buttery mixture over the dumplings and cover well.
- Gently pour Mountain Dew over the dumplings.
- Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast.
Ensure not to overfill the crescent rolls to avoid bursting during baking.
