- 2 cups apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (for apple filling)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for topping.
- Cream butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Combine flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then add milk.
- Layer half of the batter in the loaf pan, followed by half of the apple mixture.
- Top with remaining batter and then the rest of the apples.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
- Bake for about 1 hour until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool, then make the glaze and drizzle over the bread before slicing.
Notes
Different apple varieties can enhance flavor.
Room temperature butter makes creaming easier.
Let the bread cool completely before slicing for cleaner cuts.
