Instructions

  • Drain and pat dry the tofu to remove excess moisture.
  • Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and let sit on paper towels to absorb more moisture.
  • Set up breading stations with flour in one bowl and whisked eggs and water in another.
  • Coat each tofu cube in flour, then dip into egg mixture, and repeat for a double coating.
  • Preheat the air fryer and prepare the basket with parchment paper and olive oil spray.
  • Arrange tofu nuggets in a single layer, spray with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 370°F for 8 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion before serving.
