Instructions

  • Zest the orange and set it aside.
  • Juice the orange to get about 1/4 cup of juice.
  • Rinse the cranberries and set aside 1/2 cup.
  • In a saucepan, combine remaining cranberries, water, orange juice, and brown sugar.
  • Heat the mixture until it simmers, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until cranberries burst.
  • Remove from heat and stir in reserved cranberries, orange zest, and vanilla.
