- 2–4 lb corned beef brisket
- 3–4 Tbsp Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
- 3–4 Tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Remove brisket from packaging and discard spice packets.
- Boil brisket in a large pot of water to reduce saltiness, then remove.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wrap brisket in aluminum foil, fat-side up.
- Spread mustard over brisket and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Seal foil and place the brisket in a roasting pan.
- Bake for 2 hours, adjusting time for larger briskets.
- Broil the top for a few minutes until caramelized.
- Let brisket rest before slicing.
Notes
Choose a brisket with a good fat cap for added flavor.
Allow resting time after cooking for maximum juiciness.
