- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger paste or grated ginger
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions
- Mix light soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl; add shrimp and let sit.
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
- Add marinated shrimp to the pan, cooking until pink and opaque (1-2 minutes per side).
- Pour honey over the shrimp, add chili flakes if desired, and toss to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
Pat shrimp dry before cooking to avoid steaming.
Adjust honey and chili flakes to personal taste.
Fresh garlic and ginger enhance the flavor.
